Subject: draft-ietf-deltav-versioning-04.2
I've prepared a new draft of the protocol in response to
Jim Amsden's review (thanks again, Jim!), and in response
to the various discussions and proposals on the mailing list.
This draft can be found at both

The modifications include:
- having workspace revision selection be controlled by methods
rather than dynamic evaluation of a revision selection rule (Geoff Clemm)
- differentiate better between the "working resource id" used
by core versioning clients and the "workspace" introduced by
advanced versioning. (Chris Kaler)
- have the DAV:checkin-policy element be in the body of the
CHECKIN request rather than a property of the working resource.

- have the "metadata" target be specified in the Revision-Selector
header, use the term "versioned-resource" instead of "metadata",
and rename the header to be "Target-Selector" (Jim Amsden)
- merge the concept of "workspace" and "configuration" (Geoff Clemm)
