Sounds like a good non-normative suggestion to include ... but perhaps simply extending the LRU with a hit count modifier. Heavily used forms would tend to fall out of the cache rather quickly if the cache key wasn't matched. It is is also heavily re-used then who cares how many slots are tied up. For that cache, it is is productive. Dave Morris
