XML element names are not allowed to contain spaces.  See the 
specification at [1].  Given that the purpose of an xsd:element is to 
validate such XML elements, it would make no sense for XML schema to allow 
names that XML 1.0 itself does not.  So, no spaces, with or without 
schemas.  Sorry.
