Yes!  That would be very helpful, so that somebody can just copy and
paste it to try it, or they could use it as a template for
experimentation.

Regarding the others below, they all seem useful.  However, I think the
main issue is that they may be too long to include in the main body of
the Primer.  I.e., having them in the main body may disrupt the flow of
the Primer too much.  I would suggest having them in an appendix of the
Primer, referenced from the body.
