Dear Bjoern Hoehrmann, this is an answer to your comment found at: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-svg/2005Jul/0052.html We have changed the draft so that all elements which have a location support the appropriate interface. It is not a redundant interface as it avoids having one interface per element (as is the case in the HTML and SVG Full DOMs) which would be extremely costly on constrained devices, in addition to not being extremely useful.
