AG:: The above description runs a risk of sounding too static as regards the
server operations.  In particular, we need to look at validation of content as
it is accepted into the repository from which Web requests are served.
This is
not included in what is commonly considered server configuration at present. 
But it is the Quality thing to do.  And like broken link checking, it is not
necessarily the most cost-effective plan to assume the content-expert authors
or designers do this thoroughly.

From data engineering.  You want to type-check on write before retaining the
value.  Not have to discover a type error on read (i.e. in the UA).  I predict
that we will be calling on this strategy for enforcing orthodoxy of content.

So the application of checks in the process as content flows from external
non-web resources lifted by web authors and integrated into web content update
proposals integrated by website operations into the current web offering of
the
site.  We need to look at the distribution of where checking transactions are
performed throughout this pipeline.
