Just learned of what you have been secretly planning behind our backs!!! I am shocked and dismayed! To require fees for implementing WEB standards is unthinkable! To this day the WEB has grown at an astonishing rate, thanks to independent developers and Free and Open Source software!!!! You are threatening our freedom. The web belongs to US, the users. What you mean by "non-discriminatory" licensing really sounds like you want equal access for the members of the "old boys club": Microsoft, Intel, Sun, and other richest corporations in the world! What about me? What about Linus? What about the average web master? W3C standards affect MORE, MANY MORE people than just corporate entities, who are not even PEOPLE!!!!! How can you do this atrocity without making it a truly open forum for all whom it affects!!! I am disappointed, angry and shocked. I will not let this stand. I will have to share this bad news with all my friends and coworkers. --Christy Ware __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Listen to your Yahoo!
