Dear Sirs, I'm strictly against the inclusion of non-free protocols and the like in any W3C standard. Anyone with a patented technology which should be an open (!) w3c standard should instead grant an unrestricted right without any fee or the like. If not, just omit this particular technology. The web worked because everyone could use and program it. Everyone, not everyone with money for licenses. Mit freundlichem Gruß, Thomas Schulze Senior System Architect -- d|a fractales Carl-Bertelsmann Str 33 D-33332 Gütersloh Tel. +49 (0) 52 41 - 97 03 22 Fax +49 (0) 52 41 - 97 03 49 mailto:thomas.schulze@da-fractales.de Fingerprint: 98F5 31AF 45EC 4884 3E55 FA1D A787 E1B3 4570 898A http://www.da-fractales.de d|a - and the net works for you
