Mhhh, try again please;
the line should look like this (but you've to replace at least the
password
and the URL):
jigkill -u admin -p pizzahas360degrees --stop
http://gyros.informatik.med.uni-giessen.de:8009/

If this does not work, replace tze --stop with a --ping. What happens
then ?

After all, are you sure that the admin server sits at port 8009 ?
