Clarifications

Hi,
I need one clarification reg the HTML versions.
Now we are using the HTMlver4.0..
and the version 4.01 is under construction, hope i am right.
What i need is , wheather the w3c.org is going to stop the further version onHTML or it will be releasing the further versions.
If yes means , pls give  me the detais.
