This is a part of the XForms spec that doesn't seem to be widely  
implemented.

Most users of our implementation (Orbeon) for example seem to target  
large forms anyway so the lazy authoring part was never a priority for  
us.

This said, it shouldn't be hard to add to either Chiba or Orbeon.
