Formal Objection to ISSUE-30 (Was: Letter to the Team Contact - ISSUE-30.)

Dear Co-Chairs and Team Contact,

I would like you to consider my appeal not as an appeal, but as a
Formal Objection. The reason for this is that I had a talk with Mike
today, and the conversation we had convinced me that what I have
formulated as an appeal, content-wise can be considered a Formal
Objection, and that a Formal Objection is the right way forward. Of
course, my Formal Objection - as I will refer to it as from now - is
critical about the co-chairs and also questions how thoroughly they
have evaluated the issue. However the aim of my text was not
principally to question the co-chairs, but to question the Decision,
including the quality of the Decision, in order to provide some
arguments that justifies that the conclusions of the Decision can and
should be reevaluated.

The compiled Formal Objection (formerly "Appeeal") has been updated to
reflect that it is now, in fact, a Formal Objection (except for that,
it is - at least for now - the same text as before). The document was
also moved from its old address (which included the word 'appeal') to
the following, new address:
http://www.malform.no/messages/issue-30.html

I thus formally request that the Co-Chairs record my Formal Objection
together with their own Decision, in order to inform the group and the
public about it.

PS: I hope that Decisions, in the future, will refer a more objective
and accurate description of the Appeal instrument and the Formal
Objection instrument.

With regards,
Leif Halvard Silli
