Dom,

When I put
 http://www.w3.org/2005/12/allgroupoverview.html
 version of 2006/02/02 15:51:04

into the GRDDL service, http://www.w3.org/2003/11/rdf-in-xhtml-demo
I get no namespace prefix on the summary elements:

          <c:Vevent>
             <summary xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2002/12/cal/icaltzd#" xml:lang="en">Technical Plenary and WG
Meeting Week</summary>
             <dtstart xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2002/12/cal/icaltzd#"
                     r:datatype="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#date">2006-02-27</dtstart>

but when I run xsltproc locally, it works:

      <c:Vevent>
        <c:summary xml:lang="en">Technical Plenary and WG
Meeting Week</c:summary>
        <c:dtstart r:datatype="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#date">2006-02-27</c:dtstart>

Any clues?

I've got version 1.7 of glean-hcal.xsl 2005/11/19 06:38:16.
