an important role providing leadership and expertise to help the campus 
provide an accessible computing environment, particularly as we rely 
increasingly on dynamic web-based technologies.

University Coordinator of Information Technology Accessibility

    * Coordinate campus efforts to provide exemplary barrier-free 
computing and information technology (IT) systems and resources. These 
include hardware, software applications, web content, web tools and
other online and classroom technologies.
    * Assist in providing technical development solutions to Office of 
Information Technology units and campus IT staff. Provide support, 
documentation and training by tracking and documenting issues, providing
solutions, testing usability of IT resources, and maintaining an active 
website of relevant information.
    * Partner with other university entities to establish policies and 
standards related to the university's providing accessible software 
systems, online materials and computing resources.
    * Promote awareness of the need for accessibility of information 
systems and effect systemic change.
    * Keep abreast of emerging assistive and information technologies 
and solutions.
