Re: ARIA instructions in other languages

 Thanks, Mike.  I'm unable to select French in JAWS, which must mean I don't have a French language package installed.

I'm not awareof any AT-based industry specification that addresses this.

Whenyou say ‘default instructions’ I assume you mean the help read out bythe screenreader based on the components role, rather than text embeddedin the page?

 

Inwhich case it must be at the AT level, so in whichever screenreader you’reusing.

You’llneed a French language voice…
