Access-Israel

In the mean time the event I have been dreading has happened. Access-Israel,
the accessibility advocates in Israel, have asked me to make their site
accessible.
Any volunteers?

sure--what's the URI for their current home page?
   http://access-israel.org.il
   http://access-israel.net.il
   http://access-israel.com.il
or something similar?

just tried http://access-israel.org.il/ and apparently the page is in hebrew
(JFW reads the entire page as a string of question marks) -- checked the
document source, and http://access-israel.org.il/ is actually a frameset,
the only frame in which points to:
   http://www.access-israel.com
which resolves to
   http://www.access-israel.com/access-israel/hebrew/
but i couldn't find an english (or any other, such as russian) version, so
i'll have to settle for munging code, i suppose, unless the site is sniffing
for hebrew support and, finding it, is serving me hebrew content... i
didn't
even know i had support for hebrew installed on my machine.... ah-ha--just
ALT-TABbed back to IE and checked what IE reported as the document's
"Encoding", which was reported as "Hebrew (Windows)"

nah--i think it's simply available only in hebrew -- at least, that's the
impression i get when i attempt to listen to it via lynx

hmm...
gregory.
