EOWG - Please Read - Key Updates

Greetings EOWG,

(Forgive me for the long email. I am putting on my project manager hat. *Please
read everything*.)

There will be *no meeting* on Friday, 25, August. All editor teams are
making GREAT progress on their resources. We request that you use the time
to keep working on resource editing and reviewing. Time is moving along and
we need to use the meeting time to advance the work. Please make plans to
meet with your co-editor if you can.

*Key Announcements and Work for this Week:*

   - The EOWG Charter has been approved!!! New charter term ends 30 June
   2020.
   - Thank you for providing feedback on WAI site redesign Navigation (last
   week's survey)
   - Work for this week

   - There is no weekly survey this week
   - Be on the lookout for possible reviews of Accessible Media Tutorial

*Co-editors*

   - Please keep working on the next steps for your resource. (Send in your
   editing plan, fill out your proposed dates for your work plan

   - When you assign reviews to your small review team, please assign a due
   date as well.
   - Mid-October seems like a long way off to complete resource edits and
   approval, but it will come sooner than we all think. Please keep the work
   moving.
   - Please reach out to Brent if you have any questions or roadblocks.

*Review Teams*

   - Watch for and complete resource reviews for your co-editors thoroughly
   and on time. They are counting on you for quality reviews so that EOWG
   approval can happen more quickly.
   - *Intro to Accessibility Review Team* - Shawn is awaiting completion of
   the first review of this resource. This review request was sent out and
   assigned on July 21 (one month ago) If you have not completed the review
   and provided feedback to Shawn (following these email directions
   <https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-eo-archive/2017JulSep/0000.html>

   please do so *no later than 29 August*. She needs to continue working on
   the resource.
   - *Easy Checks Review Team -* Shawn is awaiting completing of the first
   review of this resource. This review request was sent out on August 02. If
   you have not completed the review and provided feedback to Shawn (following

   please do so *no later than 30 August*. She needs to continue working on
   the resource. *She would also like feedback on this issue **as soon as

Remember, this is the big push over the next few months. We cannot tell you
how much we appreciate the level of effort that has been increased already
by everyone. We will get this done, and it will be fantastic when we do.
