If that's the case, then it should not be that difficult to address

a bit of a knowledge infusion, a few intuitive high level interfaces
and applications that let people perform

it's true however that giving away  knowledge may sometime conflict
with commercial logic of trying to sell knowledge products leveraging
on the market need for knowledge (a bit circular),

 we may have to study the business/economic model of the knowledge
industry as a whole, then we may be looking at a much scarier beast
