Mike: I don’t have a strong preference, but I would lean towards adding a collation argument to the sort functions.

Tim: I agree with that.

Decision: Accept option (a) of comment 2 in bug 29722 - add a collation argument to fn:sort and array:sort.

ACTION A-650-01: Action on Mike Kay to add a collation argument to fn:sort and array:sort (see bug 29722).

>

We discussed three options:
(1) Do nothing
(2) Change it to use-first, no options
(3) Add options to control behavior. Within this options, the following were discussed:
    use-first
    use-last
    reject
combine? (concatenate all values where same-key is true)
don’t care? (pick any one key/value that you want among difficult)

ACTION A-650-02: Action on Mike Kay to write a proposal for adding options to map merge (use-first, use-last, reject, combine, don’t care).

------------------------------------

J4.2.3 Bug 29736

Decision: Resolve bug 29736 as suggested by Tim in comment 0 and comment 1.

ACTION A-650-03: Action on Mike Kay to apply fix suggested by Tim on bug 29736 in comment 0 and comment 1.
