I kind of agree but it would be a bit reductive to define a spec for 
copy (for which I'd like to help), without a spec for paste in a world 
where in-page-editors are common-food.
(typically, one wants to be able and interpret the paste of a location 
in Earth as well... from Route 66 or my address-book, two desktop apps, 
to Google-Maps, or?).
