This is a good point.  In fact I'm so used to CSS by now, I would
automatically have said "yes" as a reflex.  Though you could imagine
another styling system, though none come to mind.

Perhaps another way to phrase your question could be.  Does the use of the
term "Web" imply the use of XHTML.  What would the answer be then?
