>9. May 15-22: WG survey on Last Call based on May 8 Editor's draft As per my message [1] on Mar 31, we are scheduled to commence a poll of the HTML WG on moving some of our specifications to Last Call today. This poll covers moving the following specifications to Last Call Working Draft: 1. HTML5: http://dev.w3.org/html5/spec/ 2. HTML+RDFa: http://dev.w3.org/html5/rdfa/ 3. HTML Microdata: http://dev.w3.org/html5/md/ 4. HTML Canvas 2D Context: http://dev.w3.org/html5/2dcontext/ 5. HTML/XHTML Compatibility Authoring Guidelines: http://dev.w3.org/html5/html-xhtml-author-guide/html-xhtml-authoring-guide.html 6. HTML5: Techniques for providing useful text alternatives: http://dev.w3.org/html5/alt-techniques/ The poll is available here and it will run through Sun May 22: http://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/40318/html5-last-call-poll/ Please read the introductory text before entering your responses. In particular, note that in this poll the Chairs have set a quorum requirement of at least half of the W3C member organizations and at least 50 WG members for the poll to be successful. In addition the Chairs will be counting votes in this poll to determine if we achieve a 2/3 voting majority and therefore we want as many WG members to respond to the survey as possible. /paulc for the HTML WG co-chairs [1] http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-html/2011Mar/0759.html Paul Cotton, Microsoft Canada 17 Eleanor Drive, Ottawa, Ontario K2E 6A3 Tel: (425) 705-9596 Fax: (425) 936-7329
