Shouldn't you file bugs for these changes to ensure these parts are tracked like all the other parts of the "alternate spec text"?

Are there any other items in the "alternate spec text" not covered by the already filed bugs?

I assume you mean an A11Y TF poll.  That is interesting since it tells us what happened in the A11Y TF but is not sufficient rationale for the change to be accepted automatically by the WG.
