Is there an existing FAQ for public-html?

If there isn't, and there are no objections, I will create one in the  
wiki.

The idea of "removed/dropped/deprecated/non-conforming/non-normative  
features breaking backwards compatibility" seems to arise often  
enough that a FAQ entry for it would be useful.
