I say more: i'd like to
merge properties 'display' and 'appearance' and
increase set of values of new property
 to visualize arbitrary tag <foo> as _any_ tag of html4.

P.S.
I interested that for work with database more directly -
'display' is simpler, than binding.

You can note trand: XSL, binding, 'display'.
I'm trying to standardize that in www-style@w3.org.
