Re: Agenda: HTML-A11Y Task Force on 31 March at 15:00Z for 60 minutes

Hi Janina,

Regrets, I have to work.
> agenda+ @longdesc redux

As everyone knows the longdesc change proposal is at:
http://www.w3.org/html/wg/wiki/ChangeProposals/InstateLongdesc

Janina, in January you said that you would like to work with me on
perfecting the longdesc change proposal. That would be greatly
appreciated [1]. Since you ceded your action item regarding the change
proposal to me, I have been working very hard on it. But I am awaiting
your [2] and the task force's input on several items. I did insert a
section for figure as I didn't receive any text from you. And I have
worked on the use cases, collaborating with Geoff on writing the
etext use cases.

Ideas for improving the change proposal would be VERY much
appreciated. We need to streamline the document, perfect the verbiage,
and especially get the spec text [3] settled.

We have example spec text from Steve, me, and a version based on
Chaals' original proposal. This should to come together in some
fashion. The spec text is extremely important. For folks who don't
follow public-html, Henri and Jonas have been sharing their
perspectives and expertise. It is very good to get their input. I have
asked Ian to think about helping us too. I am hoping he will.

Anyway, if anyone has ideas for improving the change proposal please
respond here on public-html-a11y. It is most needed and welcome.

Thank you all very much.

Best Regards,
Laura
