RE: Intro next steps -- Re: Ready to work

Hi Shawn,

(CC public-eo-archive as per request)

1. W3C page

I was wondering aloud, but you did well to ask: re-reading it made me think that no, it's OK. I still have a hard time grasping the role of two separate pages, but it's probably just me, so feel free to ignore me.
Updated the issue comment: https://github.com/w3c/accessibility-intro/issues/3#issuecomment-320002971

2. WAI page

Enclosed is a revision of the WAI page. I removed a few redundant formulas and that's pretty much everything I did; also I've bolded a few sentences to better allow for cursory reads. The contents are not redundant with the W3C intro page, so I didn't feel the need to cut them, really. Indeed it's more in-depth than the W3C page.

Let me know if you expected something else, by all means.

Thanks, Stéphane!

We need more input on the Intro pages.

1. W3C page.

You said "I wonder, though, whether the W3C page is not somehow too detailed."
It would be helpful to get your specific suggestions on what we might want to change. :-)

2. WAI page.

We initially thought that we would replace the content of <https://www.w3.org/WAI/intro/accessibility>
with the revised content from <https://w3c.github.io/accessibility-intro/>

However, there is some support for keeping the more in-depth info in <https://www.w3.org/WAI/intro/accessibility>.

If we do, we will want to review it, update it, and revise it to be easier to read, probably more succinct and shorter, etc.

Do you want to provide suggestions for revising that page? If it works for you, you can do it in a Word document with tracked changes.

Relevant issues are:
https://github.com/w3c/accessibility-intro/issues/3
https://github.com/w3c/accessibility-intro/issues/4

Best,
~Shawn
