Jean-Clode, WURFL must have been mentioned at least a dozen times over the
past two weeks. Please take a look at:


WURFL is a de-facto standard for device description and it relies on the 
User Agent string to identify the device and get to its capabilities

Sorry, but I think the main web browser sends http request with near 
from nothing useful about the device in the http request. Using the HTTP 
request seams to be a theoretical solution. Or a solution in very 
limited context.
