“Code complete”

Hi folks,

I published XML Calabash 3.0.0 “alpha21” this afternoon. I believe this release is “code complete”, I think I’ve implemented all of the steps that were available in my 1.x implementation, to the extent possible.

Not all of the implementations are exactly the same, but I think they’re functionally compatible. The RDF steps are quite different because XProc 3.0 supports loading non-XML natively. The xmlunit step is based on the 2.x APIs where I expect the previous implementation was based on the 1.0 APIs.

I haven’t implemented cx:delta-xml, because that requires Saxon 9.x which isn’t practical. You can, of course, run it with p:exec.

I also haven’t implemented the MarkLogic extension steps. I somehow doubt those APIs are still state of the art for MarkLogic and, in any event, I don’t have any servers setup where I could test it.

“Share and enjoy.”

                                        Be seeing you,
                                          norm
