Hi folks,
FYI: I just published alpha28:
https://docs.xmlcalabash.com/userguide/current/changelog.html#r300-alpha28
Highlights:
* I finally configured a Windows box to run the test suite. That turned up a few places where Windows filenames were causing problems and a couple of places where files were being left open. There’s still an unresolved issue with the relative-to option[1] but I’m not sure what to do about it.
* You can now use multiple threads when running a pipeline. If you’re pipeline has opportunities for parallelism, it should run faster. Details in the user guide.
* I improved error reporting, resolving the “(no message for error)” bug that Wendell observed the other day. I also significantly improved the error messages from p:xslt and p:xquery steps, I think.
* I’ve made some speculative improvements to the p:urify() function and am using it implicitly in a bunch of places. That also ought to improve behavior on Windows.
Share and enjoy. Let me know how it goes!
Be seeing you,
norm
