Hi folks, I’ve just published the “alpha27” release. The big change is (supposed to be) completely invisible: I did a bunch of internal refactoring to improve some of the public APIs and to set the stage for some ideas rolling around in my head. If you’re using the alphas, I’d appreciate any feedback you have on alpha27. It passes all the tests so I think it’s pretty solid, but I worry whenever I make a commit that touches 250+ files! :-) I hope this release puts things on a glide path for maybe a beta or two in May and an official release around the time of MarkupUK to coincide with the (planned) publication of the final XProc 3.1 specifications. I hope to spend some time over the spring break working on the API documentation. Undoubtably, that’ll make me want to change some of the APIs but hopefully not dramatically.
