I can become very emotional, when it's about XML (I think it's one of the best developments we had in the last 30 years) and I will need to cool down. Hearing, that there is people who seriously want to get rid of namespaces makes me want to bang my head against the table (and it is already pretty blunt from banging my head against the table, when I run into complications because of, you may have guessed it, namespaces, >;-D ).
