Hi All, As announced last month and only slightly delayed, here’s a spelled-out proposal for what we discussed in London in June, proxy documents for non-XML documents: https://gimsieke.github.io/3.0-specification/proxy-docs/head/xproc30/#proxy-documents or, as a diff vs. the current draft: https://github.com/xproc/3.0-specification/compare/master...gimsieke:proxy-docs The current draft’s method for representing non-XML documents are empty document nodes whose properties can be queried with p:document-properties(). Looking forward to your comments, including suggestions for different approaches that can better reconcile the goals: – interoperable – XPath-friendly – easily understandable – uniform querying of properties – avoid excessive verbosity Gerrit
