Hi all, Some of you probably know that in my spare time, I have been working on a completely client-side, JavaScript version of our Calumet XProc processor (see my Balisage paper on the subject if you are interested: http://www.balisage.net/Proceedings/vol5/html/Toman01/BalisageVol5-Toman 01.html) While I am still not done with the project (will I ever be?), I think it might be interesting to give you access to an "alpha" demo: http://xmldemo.emc.com:8080/calumet There are still some issues with different browsers (for instance, the p:validate-with-schematron example does not work with Safari/Chrome) and some features don't work that reliably yet (namespaces, p:http-request, ...), but all in all, I think I have reached a stage where I can consider releasing the JavaScript version to a wider public soon. I still consider this experimental/fun technology, but perhaps the best thing to do now is to let the users try it out, test it, and figure out if they can do anything useful with it. I am not making any promises as to when the release will be available, but I would like to - if other priorities allow - wrap it up and make it available before the end of the year.
