Mark,

The XML Protocol Working Group has resolved the issue [1] regarding the 
media type registration appendix in the SOAP 1.2 specifications. 
Specifically, the WG has decided to invalidate the entire appendix and 
update references from it to RFC3902 in errata.

Please tell the WG if this resolution is acceptable.
