Hervé,

You raised an issue[1] regarding constraints on node types in MTOM/XOP. The XMLP WG agreed to remove the sentence 

"The type property for all other Element Nodes MUST be set to xdt:untypedAny."

from the spec. 

I trust this resolves the issue to your satisfaction.
