These comments apply to the SOAP 1.2 Attachment Feature Working Draft dated 14th August 2002[1] 1. The att:SOAPMessage property should be described as being an XML Infoset ( this is the abstract structure of a SOAP message ) 2. The att:SecondaryPartBag should be a sub-property of the att:SOAPMessage, that is it, and the representations it contains, should be contained entirely within the XML Infoset of the SOAP message. In general, the notion of information being outside the SOAP envelope seems to be problematic, given that the processing model[2] of SOAP is defined in terms of an XML Infoset.
