Susan,
the XMLP WG has decided to close the CR Issue 409 [1] that you raised by
keeping the status quo. Our rationale follows.
Looking at the list of Part 2 Appendices [2]:
Appendix D - Acknowledgements - is obviously an appendix.
Appendix A is not only relevant for the HTTP binding, but it is not an
adjunct to SOAP 1.2 as such, it's more like a note to the HTTP binding
and other interested parties (like the IETF).
The other two appendices (B and C) are also just notes relevant to their
respective sections; they don't naturally fit in the sections but they
don't seem to deserve section status themselves.
Altogether, we believe the appendices have the right status. If you have
any pushback or other comments, please respond to this message CCing the
list xmlp-comments@w3.org.
