Via Tim Bray ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: <Nicolas.Weidmann@lodh.com> Date: Tue, Mar 25, 2008 at 7:22 AM Subject: Namespaces in XML 1.0 Dear Mr. Bray, Out of curiousity, I was reading some XML specs and saw that the use of 'Letter' in XML 1.0 for 'Name'(s) was replaced by the errata by 'NameStartChar'. In XML Namespaces 1.0 2nd edition, NCNameStartChar is however still using 'Letter'. In the 1.1 version of those specs, it has been replaced by 'NameStartChar'. Since there is currently no errata for the namespaces 1.0 specs, I would like to know if 'Letter' has to be considered legal as 'Letter' has been replaced by 'NameStartChar' by the XML 1.0 erratum? Regards, Nicolas Weidmann
