Hi, XML Namespaces 1.0 Errata and XML Namespaces 1.1 clearly specify that PI targets in XML documents containing a colon render the document namespace illformed. What if a namespace aware XML processor encounters such a PI in an external subset? A number of validating namespace aware XML processors refuse to process such a document while W3C publishes DTDs that contain such PIs, e.g. http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml-basic/xhtml-arch-1.mod Please clarify the situation in Namespaces 1.0 errata and Namespaces 1.1. Thanks.
