http://www.w3.org/XML/Group/2002/03/WD-xml-names-20020313.html In Section 4 Using Qualified Names there is a new sentence that reads: "Furthermore, the attribute value in the innermost such declaration must not be empty." This does not make sense to me; to a parser the current element is always the innermost element. Or is namespace checking supposed to happen after the document has been parsed? -- Heikki Toivonen
