Hi Joseph,

To progress the XML encryption spec we need a report of
satisfaction in an application context. To this end, I
can report that we have successfully combined the use of
XML encryption and XML digital signatures in the context
of a SOAP-based application (XKMS 2 over WSS, each in their
current non-standard form). Performance is fine; cryptographic
processing (sign/encrypt) of simple messages takes a few tens
of milliseconds on my desktop machine.
