I'd like to hear arguments why the Brian LaMacchia solution #3 (see "http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/w3c-ietf-xmldsig/2002JanMar/0027.html" and "http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/w3c-ietf-xmldsig/2002JanMar/0054.html") would NOT be sufficient for encryption properties as well.
