Hi Joseph,

just for the telecon today, this topic is done. Here I forward the response 
from Russ Housley where he acknowledges that it was a Typo. But anyhow, this is not important for the XML encryption spec because [1] does not include the (wrong) cryptographic values but only the algorithm which has no typo.
