The only problem with that is that we're getting lots of good input from experts outside of the immediate group - and they won't be in on the call. -Dug Jeffrey Kay <jkay@ENGENIA.COM>@w3.org on 05/08/2001 10:20:47 AM Sent by: xml-dist-app-request@w3.org To: "'Henrik Frystyk Nielsen'" <henrikn@microsoft.com>, Mark Nottingham <mnot@mnot.net>, XML Distributed Applications List <xml-dist-app@w3.org>, David Fallside/Santa Teresa/IBM@IBMUS cc: Subject: RE: About the IETF list... (was: SOAP/XML Protocol and filtering, etc.) Henrik, Mark, David -- I'd suggest that this be an agenda item on this week's call. I think we need to figure out how to resolve this issue and some of the broader issues that it raises. I think it's a valid and important issue to discuss since it has some pretty interesting philosophical and implementation impacts. I'm not sure that I would suggest resolving this issue on this call since we're going to meet F2F in a couple of weeks. Perhaps we should discuss the meta-issue of "how to resolve this issue" rather than attempt to discuss the issue itself.
