Hi, Sorry for the second mail on the same subject. IMHO, SOAP lacks support for XML document centric choreographies, which are the basis for B2B applications. In many quarters, SOAP is still perceived as an RPC mechanism and (may be) right fully so. cheers |-----Original Message----- |From: xml-dist-app-request@w3.org [mailto:xml-dist-app-request@w3.org]On |Behalf Of Box, Don |Sent: Friday, March 30, 2001 1:31 PM |To: 'xml-dist-app@w3.org' |Subject: Announce: A brief history of SOAP | | |I had one of those Jerry Maguire-esque mornings yesterday and decided to |take a look back at the last three years of SOAP and what it all meant (to |me, at least). | |You can read it at http://www.develop.com/dbox/postsoap.html | |Enjoy, |DB |http://www.develop.com/dbox | |
