Subject: Re: mid-course correction on abstract model for module processing To: Mark Jones <jones@research.att.com> Cc: xml-dist-app@w3.org From: "Yuhichi Nakamura" <NAKAMURY@jp.ibm.com> Date: Fri, 23 Mar 2001 01:17:15 +0900 Hi Mark, I am not sure, but digital signature and logger handler scenario would be helpful. Assume that a message including digital signature header as in SOAP Security draft (W3C) is sent, and consumed by a signature verifier handler. So far so good. However, a logger handler wants to log the message with the signature header entry. If the verifier handler removes it, the logger cannot work. If you envision this scenario with your model, it would be a good help. The model allows a block to be tagged in a way so that it is not removed. --mark I hope that this makes sense.
