Introduction

My Name is Mark Needleman and I will be representing Data Research
Associates, Inc in the XML Protocol WG. I am the company AC representative
so I guess no confirmation is needed. I am also a member of the XML Core
and Query Language WG's

I have spent many years being involved with protcols in ther library and
information retrieval areas. I have been involved with several IETF
working groups, and the Unicode Consortium, among other activities

I am involved with a couple of protcol development committees that are
looking to see how SOAP or whatever comes out of this group can be used in
those efforts

I agree to participate according to the terms of the charter and W3C
requirements for participation

At this point Im not sure whether I can make the Raleigh meeting or not
