Having had a chance to look at all the specs on the matrix, there are a few that simply cause my eyes to glaze over and give me headaches even thinking about how they can be compared. Those specs share the "bloated spec" facet: Due to a broad scope, overengineering, overspecification, or over eager writing, this spec is huge. Developers are encouraged to break up the spec into more managable pieces. Spec Bloated spec ------------------ ------------ BizTalk no ebXML no spec at the link on the matrix eCo yes ICE yes IOTP yes Jabber no LDO no LOTP no (not yet, there's broad scope yet to be defined) SOAP no Userland's XML-RPC no WDDX no Wf-XML no XMI yes XMOP can't tell from the link on the matrix XP no -- Ken
