Just a quick follow-up note: output from the June 2005 meeting is available at: http://www.loc.gov/standards/sru/forum-june05-output/ (That link had been broken for quite some time but it's fixed now.) --Ray ------------------------------------- From: Ray Denenberg <raydenenberg@starpower.net> Date: Sat, 26 Aug 2006 17:09:56 -0400 Message-Id: <55ac1u$7t0meq@smtp01.lnh.mail.rcn.net> To: "'wessam darwish'" <wessoreem@yahoo.com>, <www-zig@w3.org> After 2002 the Z39.50 Implementors Group, for the most part, became (what is now) the SRU Implementors Group. See http://www.loc.gov/standards/sru/ There was however a meeting in June 2005 (Chicago) which covered bot SRU and Z39.50 matters, so that could be considered the "last" ZIG meeting. There was an SRU implementors meeting this past March (2006) at The Hague (Netherlands), see http://www.loc.gov/standards/sru/march06-meeting/output.html and the next meeting will perhaps be Spring 2007. The ZIG is not disbanded, the list (this list) is still operational though not very active. The SRU list is much more active. See http://www.loc.gov/standards/sru/listserv.html Ray Denenberg _____ From: www-zig-request@w3.org [mailto:www-zig-request@w3.org] On Behalf Of wessam darwish Sent: Friday, August 25, 2006 10:34 PM To: www-zig@w3.org Subject: meetings Dear Friends, Iam working on a study about Z39.50 protocol, i observe that there is not any meetings for ZIG group after 2002, is that true?? is this group disbanded??
